RESEARCH

The Milton Erickson Institute of Turin has always been oriented toward research: we constantly work to create new inductive methods to better face the problems that are presented by those who turn to us for help.
Depending on the topic, we avail ourselves of external collaborations with specialists, institutes and Hospitals, in order to increase our samples and the statistic reliability of our results.
The main research fields involve projects intended to improve and develop non verbal induction techniques, to evaluate the effects of Ericksonian hypnosis on patients suffering from chronic pain, to study the effect of hypnotic treatments to support patients who are recovering after medical operations. Furthermore new projects connected to neurology are currently being evaluated in order to better understand the physiology of hypnosis.
QUOTES

"Although there are certain general principles of treatment to be
performed, any work ipnoterapeutico is
necessarily experimental."
